Knocklyon Lodge

At Knocklyon Lodge, we provide high-quality care and education for children in the heart of the Knocklyon community. Our experienced team is passionate about supporting every child’s learning, development and well-being in a safe, stimulating and engaging environment.

Play, which has the potential to improve all aspects of children’s wellbeing: physical, emotional, social and cognitive is critical for all children. At Tigers we understand the importance of play and the impact this has on children’s learning and understanding the world around them. Our curriculum is play-based and child-led meaning we put the child at the centre of all learning. By doing this we believe that each child in the Tigers Family can reach their full potential regardless of ability or background.

At this service we provide care & education for children aged 1 – 6 years, including a full-day care service, a free pre-school class under the ECCE Scheme, and school-age childcare who attend Naoinra Chnoc Liamhna, Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamhna, St. Colm Cills Junior and Senior Schools, Scoil Carmel and Scoil Treasa.
