Tigers Founder wins CEO of the Year Award!

Karen Clince, founder of Tigers Childcare, has been named CEO of the Year at the 2023 Image PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards.

Speaking at the awards, Karen said “I am so incredibly honoured to be named this year’s CEO of the year among such a strong group of Irish women leaders,” said Clince. “The early years sector is often forgotten about and it is seldom that people within the sector win an accolade such as this.  “I started Tigers Childcare as a young 21-year-old single mum. During the past 20 years what I have learned is that my resilience, passion, and drive had come from the good adults in my life who made me believe in myself and became the little voice in my head which constantly yelled ‘you can do this, I wanted to be that voice to other children, to make them confident, brave, and fierce. And so Tigers began".
