Pembroke Wood

Located in Passage West, Tigers Pembroke Wood is the latest addition to our early years services and was acquired in March 2023. It is our second service in Co. Cork.

The creche is a modern, purpose-built centre, which opened in 2005, and equipped to perfectly cater for the children in our care with environments that promote learning and exploration.  

Play, which has the potential to improve all aspects of children’s wellbeing: physical, emotional, social and cognitive is critical for all children. At Tigers we understand the importance of play and the impact this has on children’s learning and understanding the world around them.  Our curriculum is play-based and child-led meaning we put the child at the centre of all learning.  By doing this we believe that each child in the Tigers Family can reach their full potential regardless of ability or background.

At this service we provide full-day care & education for children aged from 6 months – 5 years.  We also offer free pre-school classes under the ECCE Scheme and school-aged childcare services.
