  • To ensure high standards of care at the centre.
  • To develop curricula in line with Aistear, Siolta, ITERS and ECERS.
  • Ensure Keyworker System is in place and records are kept accordingly.
  • Ensure records of children are up to date.
  • Ensure a good standard of hygiene.
  • Attend and arrange meetings (weekly team meetings, monthly managers meetings).
  • Undertake training as required.
  • Revise policies & procedures as required and liaise with Office with regard to same.
  • Adhere to Child Protection Policy of the service and report any concerns.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by Tusla, DES and in the Tigers internal audit.
  • Effectively market and promote the group.
  • Maintain all records as required by Pobal, the HSE and Tusla.
  • Network with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies.

·         Maintain room and equipment to ensure the health and safety of children at all times

·         Ensure a good standard of hygiene.

·         Be aware of all policies and follow same,

·         Be aware of Child Protection procedures and advise manager should you have any concernts about a child.

·         Supervise homework activities.

·         Accompany children to and from school.
